Can you point me to any source quantifying the extent of this activity in your field? In the broad economy we don’t have very good measures, although rich anecdotes abound in certain industries.

Are you asking for sources quantifying the extent of outsourcing in the law industry? I have seen that quantified with relative frequency by Legal Process Outsourcing firms.
